It’s about mid-summer and, if you haven’t already taken a vacation, it is now time to take it. More importantly, if you haven’t quite decided where to take the family, might I suggest Walt Disney World in sunny Orlando, Florida. [...] After several months of deliberation about possible vacation venues, we finally decided on Washington DC. I visited with my 6th grade class about 32 years ago and was close by in Virginia and Maryland about 5 years ago, but my wife has never been, so it was a good choice. [...] Vacations are nice. It is fun and relaxing to go somewhere you’ve never been and seeing and doing new things. Most of us, however, have been to some great places but are ignorant of our own back yards. The Muskogee area, Green Country, Oklahoma and surrounding states all have fun things to do that will not break the bank. [...] |
