Most of us have received emails from someone in Nigeria claiming they have millions of dollars in the bank and need our help transferring it. For our troubles, we will be able to retain a hefty chunk of it. We know it’s a scam, but now, it appears the Martians have become involved. [...] A few months ago, I took a look at Beezid because I wanted to find out if it was a scam, or a legitimate product. Here I go again. I was perusing the interwebs and came across Satellite Direct. As I read the site, I was a bit skeptical and my scam alarm was going off. So, I did some research. [...] I am very cautious when it comes to online money-making opportunities. Usually the schemes that tell you they will make you millions only serve to take your money rather than make you anything. While Tampogo does not make this claim, I have received several emails (stemming from an inquiry I made) claiming that Tampogo is the real thing and not some kind of scam. So, as cautious as I am, I decided to bite and see what happens. [...] Cash gifting schemes are all over the internet. They may be called Giving Programs, Cash Leveraging, or Cash Gifting, but they are all the same. The bad economy has provided a fertile ground for them to take root. According to these sites, all you have to do is send a gift of money and more money will come back to you. But, is this a legal way to boost your income, or is it nothing but a scam. [...] Penny auctions such as Beezid, Swoopo, Bidray, Pardoo, Nab-n-Grab, etc. are becoming more prevalent thanks to Beezid’s television ads. When you visit these penny auction sites, you will see high dollar items going for just pennies on the dollar. Sounds like a great way to get a great bargain, and it actually can be, but at what price? [...] I’ve been seeing these ads for StopRepairBills.com on tv and thought I’d check into it and see what they offer. I went to their website and filled in the form to get a quote. It wasn’t long before my phone was ringing. [...] Beezid is not like eBay, so if you go into it thinking like that, you will be disappointed and probably a little angry. No, it is a much different creature. [...] |
