The Muskogee Phoenix editorial page has a great view on life in Muskogee after the senseless, cowardly shooting at Arrowhead Mall.
As we wake up today and go to Sunday School and church services, let us be reminded that we will never be the same community as before.
We must be better. We must be stronger. We must be more compassionate.
By now, you are well aware of what transpired at Arrowhead Mall on a relaxing, beautiful Saturday afternoon.
We had no control over what happened there.
And the violence will have lasting effect.
The cowards hiding behind guns to settle their differences will never fully be forgotten.
But, if we hide behind our fear, we let those gun-toting bullies win.
