News host Bill O’Reilly is helping a fallen marine’s father pay legal fees to members of Westboro Baptist Church. The father sued Westboro Baptist Church for picketing his son’s funeral and won nearly $11 million. But, the US Court of Appeals overturned the verdict on First Amendment grounds.

Cash gifting schemes are all over the internet. They may be called Giving Programs, Cash Leveraging, or Cash Gifting, but they are all the same. The bad economy has provided a fertile ground for them to take root. According to these sites, all you have to do is send a gift of money and more money will come back to you. But, is this a legal way to boost your income, or is it nothing but a scam.
Husbands have a responsibility to their wives. I was talking to a friend of mine who loves to quote the Bible about the husband being head of the wife and her responsibilities to the husband. My argument back to him is that the husband should first fulfill his responsibilities to his wife.

Toyota has a problem. If you’ve been anywhere with access to news, you already know this. It seems a good number of their vehicles suddenly accelerate for no apparent reason. It’s been blamed on wayward floor mats, sticky accelerators, faulty programming, and bad circuitry. But, there may be another reason – radiation from space.
I agree schools need to take tough stances against anything that may endanger our children. However, it seems as policies move toward zero tolerance, they also tend to make zero sense.

Wii Fit uses a standard measure called metabolic equivalent of a task, or MET, to calculate the energy and effort required of each activity. Using METs and the time you are exercising, Wii Fit can get close to the number of calories burned while exercising. The higher the METs, the more calories burned in a given amount of time.
So, you are in an airport waiting for your next flight out and you get hungry. So, you find a food court, get your food, set your stuff down and eat. After eating you gather your things, except your coat, and walk away. Sometime later, you realize that you left your coat and return to the food court only to find it missing.
Stanley Slader is re-opening Thunderbird this month. Personally, I will welcome the Friday night sounds again, but I realize that some people will not, especially those living close to the fairgrounds. It will be interesting to see what happens that first race night as far as how many people complain about the noise.
