The Lower Merion School District in Pennsylvania issued laptops to students complete with webcams. Then, according to this article from BoingBoing, remotely activated the webcams and spied on students and families.
The alleged breach of privacy was discovered when the idiot Vice Principal disciplined a child for improper behavior at home. Okay, if this is true, not only should the district be facing a huge judgment, but the top administration from the school up to the superintendent should be looking for new jobs. I hear McDonald’s is hiring.
