On the first day of Christmas my students gave to me
A pretty dish that’s filled with potpourri.

On the second day of Christmas my students gave to me
Two book reports and

On the third day of Christmas my students gave to me
Three chapter books,
Two book reports and
A pretty dish that’s filled with potpourri.

On the fourth day of Christmas my students gave to me
Four dictionaries,
Three chapter books,
Two book reports and
A pretty dish that’s filled with potpourri.

On the fifth day of Christmas my students gave to me
Five golden apples
Four dictionaries,
Three chapter books,
Two book reports and
A pretty dish that’s filled with potpourri.

On the sixth day of Christmas my students gave to me
Six noses running
Five golden apples
Four dictionaries,
Three chapter books,
Two book reports and
A pretty dish that’s filled with potpourri.

On the seventh day of Christmas my students gave to me
Seven pencil sharpeners
Six noses running
Five golden apples
Four dictionaries,
Three chapter books,
Two book reports and
A pretty dish that’s filled with potpourri.

On the eighth day of Christmas my students gave to me
Eight permission slips
Seven pencil sharpeners
Six noses running
Five golden apples
Four dictionaries,
Three chapter books,
Two book reports and

On the nineth day of Christmas my students gave to me
Nine reams of paper
Eight permission slips
Seven pencil sharpeners
Six noses running
Five golden apples

On the tenth day of Christmas my students gave to me
Ten research papers
Nine reams of paper
Eight permission slips
Seven pencil sharpeners
Six noses running
Five golden apples

On the eleventh day of Christmas my students gave to me
Eleven kinds of candy
Ten research papers
Nine reams of paper
Eight permission slips
Seven pencil sharpeners
Six noses running
Five golden apples
Four dictionaries,
Three chapter books,
Two book reports and
A pretty dish that’s filled with potpourri.

On the twelfth day of Christmas my students gave to me
Twelve sweet smiling faces
Eleven kinds of candy
Ten research papers
Nine reams of paper
Eight permission slips
Seven pencil sharpeners
Six noses running
Five golden apples
Four dictionaries,

Two book reports and
