It seems that some people at Belgium’s Hasselt University have taken the familiar Fisher-Price activity board that has been a standard in cribs for years, has hacked it and connected it to Twitter. Now, anal-retentive parents can put pictures of themselves on certain buttons. When their little snowflake activates that certain activity, a pre-programmed message (i.e. “Mommy, I wub you”) will be tweeted. Of course, it doesn’t matter if it is their little angel or the cat walking across the board, moms and dads can make themselves feel better.
I feel sorry for these kids when they grow up.
