Dog flu is a contagious respiratory disease in dogs caused by a specific Type A influenza virus referred to as a “canine influenza virus.” This is a disease of dogs, not of humans. [...] Customer service is priority 1. Or, should I say, when the customer feels like he or she is priority 1, that is great customer service. More banks need to be like BancFirst. [...] Farkle Magic™ is a Facebook™ game. / Once you play, you won’t be the same. / Which die to leave and which to take, / A choice which could make your heart ache. [...] I had an issue with my son’s AT&T account today, so I hopped on their site and used the chat option. I am connected to an agent who identified himself as “Jerod Subway”. Really? Jerod Subway? I was tempted, when asked how to address me, to say “Wendy Hamburger” or something similar. Mostly, I’m sure, to hold as blackmail material for their later years. But when did these nude baby pictures become pornography? They killed not only civilians in the World Trade Center towers, but also military personnel at the Pentagon. [...] I read with interest this ComputerWorld article: Elgan: Even AT&T says AT&T can’t handle the iPhone. I am an Apple person. I’ve always preferred the Macintosh over any other computer on the market. When the iPhone appeared, I wanted one, my wife wanted one. Unfortunately, it was that little exclusive deal with AT&T that kept me from getting one. [...] Yesterday, President Obama went to a high school in Arlington, Virginia, and gave a speech that was televised on C-Span aimed at school children across America. For some reason, quite a few people were upset about this stating that the President is forcing some sort of hidden agenda. I think it was mostly parents who didn’t care enough to read the speech online before deciding if they liked it or not. [...] President Obama’s message to schoolchildren will happen today, but it is already causing a major controversy. Some say it is an inappropriate use of school time. Or why not air this in prime time when the children are at home with their parents? It must be sinister propaganda and we must use the schools to indoctrinate our children. [...] Is it fair for your job performance to be based upon the performance of others who have no interest in your well-being? [...] |
