According to this article on Forbes.com, the iPhone has an SMS bug that will allow complete control over your iPhone with a simple one-character text message. The article states that this bug has been reported to Apple, but Apple hasn’t patched it, yet. Apparently, there is a way to send a series of 512 text messages to the phone with only one of the messages actually appearing showing a small square. After that iPhone is infected, it is simple to infect other phones on the user’s contact list in only a few minutes. The only safeguard right now is to turn the phone off.
